Pfizer, one of the world's largest drug makers, just announced that it will provide seventy of its most popular prescribed prescription drugs, including Lipitor and Viagra, free to people who have lost their jobs and health insurance. They will give away the medicines for up to a year to Americans who lost jobs since Jan. 1 and have been on the Pfizer drug for three months or more.

An Austrian food maker lost a court battle over his right to produce blue sugar-coated pumpkin seeds, after US pharmaceutical group Pfizer Inc. said they were too similar to its impotence pill Viagra, Austrian media reported Tuesday. Richard Mandl claims on his company website that he named his candy Styriagra by combining the name of his home province Styria with the word agrarian.
